2017; found objects, clay, string, tempera paint.
This work is a representation of a bathroom. It is built with materials,(paper, cardboard, clothes pins), that we in the West are familiar with, as well as the objects they come to mimic.
Manipulating these materials, and removing their original utility, I hope to meditate on our performance with these objects; our rituals in our spaces, and how that is recorded within physical objects.
