Remember the ecstasy of taking a bath or the comfort of sharing a sandwich with a dog. Think of small tragedies, feelings of ugliness that inspire make-up application or prayers for the dying delivered kneeling on a small cushion. Living delivers circumstances that are so strange and fleeting, how can we ever explain them all?
